A new release for Data Integration is available.

You can now:

• Connect to Oracle Peoplesoft, Oracle Siebel, Oracle E-Business Suite, and MySQL Heatwave as a data source.
• Apply the merge strategy on an existing target of a data loader task when using the multiple data entities load type.
• Use the ORA_HASH function in data flow operators where expressions are supported.

In addition:

• When creating a data asset, you now select the type first from the following connector icon groups: RDBMS, File and Big Data, Application, Others
• Support for using passwords when creating data assets and connections will be deprecated soon. Oracle recommends using the Vault option and storing your credentials in a vault.
• With design time or runtime actions that require a data asset to use a staging location, Data Integration now displays a warning message if you select a data asset that doesn't have a default staging location configured. You can either:
  • Update the data asset to add a default staging location.
  • Select the Object Storage data asset that has the bucket to use for staging.
