Limited availability (LA) of IPv6 addressing in all commercial regions

Beginning today, if you are in commercial regions you can now optionally configure dual stack IPv4/IPv6 in your tenancy to support inbound and outbound IPv6 initiated communication with the Internet or on-premise networks. This is an expansion of IPv6 functionality already enabled in the US Government Cloud.

An IPv6 CIDR block for a new commercial VCN must be /56 in size. The left 56 bits identify the VCN portion of the address. For example:

2001:0db8:0123:1100:0000/56

Note: To use this feature during the limited availability period, Oracle must first enable it for your tenancy.
