Enabling a Service Log for a Connector

Enable a service log for a connector in the Console.

This page describes how to enable a service log from the details page for a connector. You can also enable a log for a connector from the Logs page in the Console. See Enabling Logging for a Resource.

  1. Open the navigation menu and click Analytics & AI. Under Messaging, click Connector Hub.
  2. On the Connectors page, select the compartment that contains the connector that you want.
  3. Click the name of the connector that you want.
  4. On the details page for the connector, under Resources, click Logs.
  5. For the log that you want to enable, turn on the Enable Log toggle switch.
    • If the log was enabled previously, then the log is enabled again using previous configuration values. (To create a new log with different settings, first delete the existing log.)
    • If no log exists, then you're prompted to enter configuration values in the Enable log panel.
  6. If prompted, in the Enable log panel, provide the following values, and then click Enable log:
    • Compartment: Select the compartment that you want to use to store the service log for the connector.
    • Log group: Select the log group that you want to use to store the service log. To create a new log group, click Create new group and then enter a name.
    • Log name: Optionally enter a name for the log.
    • Log retention: Optionally specify how long to keep the service log (default: 30 days).
