Switching From Oracle-Managed Key to a Customer-Managed Key

  1. Open the navigation menu and click Analytics & AI. Under Data Lake, click Big Data Service.
  2. Under Compartment, select the compartment that contains the cluster.
  3. In the list of clusters, click the name of the cluster.
  4. On the Cluster details page, click More actions, and then select Update encryption.
  5. Select Encrypt using customer-managed keys, and then:
    1. Choose Vault in <compartment>: Accept the current compartment, or click Change Compartment to select a different compartment. Then select the name of an existing vault in that compartment.
    2. Choose Master encryption key in <compartment>: Accept the current compartment, or click Change Compartment to select a different compartment. Then select an existing master encryption key in that compartment.
  6. Click Update.
