When you use the Console to create a compute instance, you can now use a Secure Shell (SSH) key pair that is generated by Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. You no longer have to create your own SSH keys before you launch a Linux instance.

The key pair is compatible with OpenSSH, which should be installed on UNIX-based systems (including Linux and OS X), Windows 10, and Windows Server 2019.
