Restrictions

Note the following current restrictions when creating and using Oracle Integration.

  • The Oracle Integration instance creation procedures described in this guide are only applicable in these cases:
    • Case #1: You create a new Oracle Cloud account on or after November 13, 2019, and the home region of the account is one of these:
      • US East (Ashburn)
      • US West (Phoenix)
      • Canada Southeast (Toronto)
      • India West (Mumbai)
      • South Korea Central (Seoul)
      • Australia East (Sydney)
      • Japan East (Tokyo)
    • Case #2: You create a new Oracle Cloud account on or after December 12, 2019, and the home region of the account is one of these:
      • United Kingdom (London)
      • Europe (Frankfurt)
      • Europe (Zurich)
      • Latin America (Sao Paulo)
For all other Oracle Integration instance creation procedures, see Create an Oracle Integration Instance in Administering Oracle Integration.
  • You cannot provision an instance under the hamburger menu menu by scrolling to the More Oracle Cloud Services category and selecting Platform Services > Integration. Instead, scroll to the Solutions and Platform category and select Application Integration > Integration. See Creating an Oracle Integration Instance.
  • Email notifications from Processes work correctly. However, it's not possible to set a custom “from” sender (that is, the from address is the default).
  • Visual Builder business rules (including server-side validations, triggers, object functions, and declarative workflow) are disabled in Oracle Integration Generation 2 environments. You'll see a message on the Business Rules tab for business objects indicating that business rules can't be configured.
