Creating a User
Command to create user.
The createUser command enables you to create a Crypto User (CU) or Crypto Officer (CO). Only a Crypto Officer can run this command. On successfully running the command, it creates users in all the HSM partitions.

In the User Management utility, open a command prompt and run createUsercommand to create a Crypto User (CU) or Crypto Officer (CO). Password length must be in the range of 12 to 32 characters..

createUser <Usertype> <Username> | Parameter | Description |
|---|---|
| Usertype | Role assigned to the user (such as CO and CU) to perform user management operations |
| Username | Name of user sign in to the HSM. Username must be <= 31 characters and can't contain any special characters except "_" |
